Overview

Itinerary

Drive or fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara (approx. 6–7 hours by road or 25 minutes by air). Enjoy a relaxing evening in this scenic lakeside town. Overnight at a hotel in Pokhara.

Begin with a scenic drive from Pokhara to Dhampus (about 1.5 hours). From Kande, start trekking uphill through beautiful forests and traditional villages. After a break in Pitam Deurali, continue to Forest Camp. Trekking time approx. 5–6 hours. Overnight at Forest Camp.



Trek steadily uphill through forested trails, with the trees thinning as you ascend. Pass through Low Camp and Badal Danda (“Cloud Hill”), where views of Machapuchare and Annapurna South become prominent. The final section follows a ridge with open vistas on both sides. Overnight at High Camp.

Begin early to reach Mardi Himal View Point, the highest point of the trek (~4,200–4,500m), for sunrise views of Mardi Himal and surrounding peaks. After enjoying the scenery, descend to Badal Danda for the night.

Descend through lush forest trails to Siding village (approx. 4–5 hours). From Siding, drive back to Pokhara (approx. 2–3 hours). Enjoy a relaxing evening in Pokhara. Overnight at a hotel.
