Itinerary
Begin your Chitwan adventure with a scenic 5-hour drive through Nepal’s varied landscapes, or opt for a quick 25-minute flight to Bharatpur.
Upon arrival, the hotel representative will welcome you and explain the day’s activities.
After lunch, you will go on an elephant safari or jeep safari through the jungle to observe wildlife. In the evening, enjoy a Tharu Cultural Show — traditional songs and dances performed by the local Tharu community.
After breakfast, you will take a canoe ride along the Rapti River. You may spot crocodiles resting on the riverbank and a variety of birds such as kingfishers and egrets. It is a calm and peaceful experience on the water.
After the canoe ride, you will take a short jungle walk with a guide to look for animal tracks and wildlife up close.
After the canoe ride, you can return to your hotel to rest.
After breakfast, you will transfer to Bharatpur Airport for a short flight back to Kathmandu. It is also possible to drive back to Kathmandu (approx. 5 hours drive).
