Overview

Ghorepani Poon Hill trek is perhaps the ultimate short trek in the Himalayas. Suitable for all ages, particularly good for families with children, this is a 4 days trek and gets you a feel of proper trek on the edges of Annapurana range. Poon Hill (3,210m) is famous for its spectacular sunrise and a viewing point for the Annapurana range, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Tukuche, Varaha Shikhar, and Lamjung Himal. Hiking through traditional Gurung and Magar villages amidst the rhododendron forests, with the backdrop of the Annapurna always present, this is something you will cherish for a long time. Accommodation along this established route is very comfortable and the menus are not disappointing.
