Upon your arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport, our guide will meet, greet and assist you outside the airport arrival terminal. Once the baggage is loaded in the vehicle, you will be transferred to the hotel. During transfer our local guide will brief you about the city, weather, currency exchange and vital information that is required during your stay.
Upon arrival at the hotel, our local guide will help you check-in at the hotel. Once all the formalities for the check-in is finished, our guide will give you time to freshen up and will pick you later to continue the tour of the UNESCO World Declared Heritage Sites Kathmandu Durbar Square and Swayambhunath.
Kathmandu Durbar Square: Kathmandu is cluster of ancient temples, palaces, courtyards and streets that date back to the 12th and 18th centuries. Hanuman Dhoka is the former Royal Palace, an ancient seat of the Nepalese Royalty. The entire Palace here is named after a monkey god called ‘Hanuman’. One can see a huge stone statue of Hanuman painted all red right next to the main entrance (the golden gate) of the palace. Hanuman here is regarded as a powerful protector of the entire Durbar Square. The visit of Durbar Square includes the temple of Living Goddesses Kumari, she acknowledges the greetings of the devotees from the balcony of her temple residence.
The magnificent Taleju Temple, Shiva Pārbati Temple, Kala Bhairav, Maju Dega are the other major attraction. The capital takes its name from the giant pagoda of Kasthamandap, which is said to have been built of a single tree. The Kasthamandap was destroyed in 2015 earthquake and is currently being reconstructed.
Swayambunath: Swayambhunath is one of the most important religious and cultural sites in Nepal and is associated with the birth of the Kathmandu Valley civilization. It is perched on a hilltop on the southwestern part of Kathmandu and seen from most part of the city. Approximately 2000 years old Swayambhunath stup, is a dome, 20 meters in diameter and 32 meters high and is made of brick and earth mounted by a conical spire capped by a pinnacle of copper gilt. This place is religiously important for both Hindus and Buddhists.
Chitwan National Park: The Royal Chitwan National Park is Nepal’s first national park established in 1973. It provides a great wildlife experience with its rich flora and fauna. People can observe rare species of mammals like Bengal tiger, gharial, one-horned rhino, leopards, mugger crocodile and several species of deer. The Rapti River flows east to south west in the south of Bharatpur and forms the northern border of the Chitwan National Park. A visit to Nepal remains incomplete without seeing the beauty of the Terai.
On reaching at hotel you will be greeted by the hotel representative. He will brief full schedule activities that you will be doing throughout your stay in Chitwan.
After lunch, Guests will be taken for Jungle safari activities, including elephant safari to explore the jungle & wildlife activities. In the evening, Tharu Culture show will be presented, this show is performed by local community called Tharu and show their traditional dances.
Morning: Wakeup call followed by tea or coffee and then proceed on Bird Watching and nature Walk, you can see some different species of bird, Plants and other Wildlife.
After breakfast drive to Lumbini. Arrive Lumbini and check-in at the Hotel. Sightseeing of Lumbini garden
Lumbini Garden: Lumbini garden is holy birth place of Gautam Buddha. It is sacred and holiest place on the earth for Buddhist. Gautama Buddha, the founder of Buddhism, was born in the 7th or 6th century BC. Maya Devi gave birth to the Buddha on Lumbini garden on her way to her parent’s home in Devadaha .The major attraction of Lumbini Garden are Mayadevi temple, Lord Buddha birth marker stone, the Ashoka Pillar, holy lake Puskarni where the Buddha’s mother took the ritual dip prior to his birth and where he too, had his first bath and eternal Peace Flame.
Leisurely breakfast at the hotel. Day will be free on your own before transfer to International airport to connect onward journey. You will be received by our local Guide Approx. 3hours prior the departure flight timing.
