Upon your arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport, our guide will meet, greet and assist you outside the airport arrival terminal. Once the baggage is loaded in the vehicle, you will be transferred to the hotel. During transfer our local guide will brief you about the city, weather, currency exchange and vital information that is required during your stay.
Upon arrival at the hotel, our local guide will help you check-in at the hotel. Once all the formalities for the check-in is finished, our guide will give you time to freshen up and will pick you later to continue the tour of the UNESCO World Declared Heritage Sites Kathmandu Durbar Square and Swayambhunath.
Kathmandu Durbar Square: Kathmandu is cluster of ancient temples, palaces, courtyards and streets that date back to the 12th and 18th centuries. Hanuman Dhoka is the former Royal Palace, an ancient seat of the Nepalese Royalty. The entire Palace here is named after a monkey god called ‘Hanuman’. One can see a huge stone statue of Hanuman painted all red right next to the main entrance (the golden gate) of the palace. Hanuman here is regarded as a powerful protector of the entire Durbar Square. The visit of Durbar Square includes the temple of Living Goddesses Kumari, she acknowledges the greetings of the devotees from the balcony of her temple residence.
The magnificent Taleju Temple, Shiva Pārbati Temple, Kala Bhairav, Maju Dega are the other major attraction. The capital takes its name from the giant pagoda of Kasthamandap, which is said to have been built of a single tree. The Kasthamandap was destroyed in 2015 earthquake and is currently being reconstructed.
Swayambunath: Swayambhunath is one of the most important religious and cultural sites in Nepal and is associated with the birth of the Kathmandu Valley civilization. It is perched on a hilltop on the southwestern part of Kathmandu and seen from most part of the city. Approximately 2000 years old Swayambhunath stupa, is a dome, 20 meters in diameter and 32 meters high and is made of brick and earth mounted by a conical spire capped by a pinnacle of copper gilt. This place is religiously important for both Hindus and Buddhists.
Chitwan National Park: The Royal Chitwan National Park is Nepal’s first national park established in 1973. It provides a great wildlife experience with its rich flora and fauna. People can observe rare species of mammals like Bengal tiger, gharial, one-horned rhino, leopards, mugger crocodile and several species of deer. The Rapti River flows east to south west in the south of Bharatpur and forms the northern border of the Chitwan National Park. A visit to Nepal remains incomplete without seeing the beauty of the Terai.
On reaching at hotel you will be greeted by the hotel representative. He will brief full schedule activities that you will be doing throughout your stay in Chitwan.
After lunch, Guests will be taken for Jungle safari activities, including elephant safari to explore the jungle & wildlife activities. In the evening, Tharu Culture show will be presented, this show is performed by local community called Tharu and show their traditional dances.
After Breakfast drive to Pokhara [approx. 4 hours]. Check-in to the hotel and take a rest or you may also stroll in the streets of Pokhara.
Pokhara valley is one of the most picturesque spots of Nepal. The beauty of Pokhara is enhanced by its lovely lakes, which have their source in the glacial region of the Annapurna range of the Himalayas. Pokhara is situated 200 KM west of Kathmandu at an altitude of 827 meter from sea-level. For the mountain viewers Pokhara offers a magnificent view of Dhaulagiri, Machapuchre (Fishtail), five peaks of Annapurna and others. Pokhara has mesmerized visitors from all over the world with the rare combinations of snow-clad peaks and snow fed lakes and rivers. The serenity of the Phewa Lake accompanied by the grandeur of Machhapuchhre creates an ambience of peace and magic.
Pokhara is an enchanting city nestled in a tranquil valley and a center of adventure. It is the starting point for many of Nepal’s most popular trekking and rafting destinations. It is the land of the Magars and Gurungs, hardworking farmers and valorous warriors who have earned worldwide fame as Gurkha soldiers.
Sarangkot: Early morning drive to Sarangkot for sunrise over the western Himalayas (weather permitting). Sarangkot is the highest point in Pokhara valley. It is located at an altitude of 1592m above sea level. One of the most enjoyable trips to Sarangkot will provide the magnificent view of Fishtail and Annapurna range peaks on clear days. Viewing 700m down from the top of Sarangkot you can have awesome sights of the stretching Pokhara Valley, Phewa Lake and many more.
Devi’s fall: Devi’s fall is a lovely waterfall lying about 2 km south-west of the Pokhara airport on the Siddhartha Highway. It is locally known as Patale chhango. The water falls directly into a gorge and goes into a deep and narrow canal with no ends. This place is hugely popular with tourists and locals alike.
Gupteswor Mahadev Cave: Gupteshwor Mahadev cave is right across from Devis falls and the cave is almost 3 kms long. It is one of the longest caves in Nepal. This cave holds special value to Hindus since a phallic symbol of Lord Shiva is preserved here in the condition it was discovered.
Bindabashini Temple: This is one of the oldest temples of goddess Bhagwati in Pokhara which lies in the center of religious old bazaar. Apart from the peace and tranquility that can be felt in this region, the premises of the temple offer a good view of the Himalaya on a clear day.
Fewa Lake: Fewa Lake is 1.5-kilometer-long and second largest lake in Nepal which offers an excellent view of the mountains and their reflections on the lake. Many tours and trekking operators and hotels are located on the lakeside. One can easily find a place to sit back, relax and enjoy great meal while enjoying scenery here. You can also enjoy 01 hrs boating on the lake
Seti River Gorges: Carved by Seti-Gandaki rivers, it is one of the natural wonders of Pokhara. K.I. Singh bridge at Bagar, Mahendrapool & Prithivi Highway Bridge near bus park, provides a perfect view of the river’s dreadful rush and the deep gorge made by the turbulent flow of white water.
Pashupatinath: Pashupatinath Temple is one of the most important pilgrimages sites for Hindu devotees all around the world. Pashupatinath is the holy temple of Hindu God Shiva and the place of cremation of Hindus at the bank of Bagmati river It is one of the largest Hindu temple complexes in South Asia with hundreds of Shiva lingams, shrines icons of various Hindu god and goddess.
Boudhanath: Boudhanath is one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites and one of the most imposing landmarks in Kathmandu. It is 2500 years old Buddhist stupa in the Valley built in the 5th century. The 36-meter-high stupa of Boudha is huge which stands on the massive three level mandala style Platforms surrounded with countless monasteries and houses around it, Boudha is the center of Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal.
